Happy 29th Anniversary Styleworks. It is hard to believe my first baby is 29 years old. We have been through a lot. And here we are years later, strong and still love having you come in. Some of you have been here the whole time. A special thank you to each and every one of you. We wouldn't be here without you.

Tracy is back to work. She had to have another surgery on Monday, September 30th. They did a fistulotomy. The last surgery was 50% successful. The doctor says this is all good news. He is 80 - 99% sure this will be the last surgery. She is healing but is in a lot of pain. They did more than anticipated on Monday. He does not think she will need a referral to U of M. And in 3 - 6 months should start to feel like herself. Her well-being is the most important thing. She appreciates all of your well wishes and patience.​

I would like to address our cancellation and no-show policy.

There are a few reasons we created these policies. We do not get paid hourly. We only receive pay when we have customers. Our stylists are all very busy. Lisa is pre-booked six weeks or so in advance. Tracy and Kayla are often booked several weeks in advance. That means we have turned away people for these appointments. When canceled last minute or not showing up for appointments it is a loss of income for us. And a spot someone else would have liked to have.

We totally understand that life happens. Sometimes things happen that are out of your control. We do understand that. Emergencies are not what we are referring to. Everyone does forget sometimes also. That is why we give a reminder of our policy when you forget. If it happens more than once we do need to implement our policy of paying for the missed appointment before the next one can be made. If your schedule is unpredictable, that it happens often to cancel under twenty-four hours. It might be best to make same-day appointments when you know it will work. When they are canceled without much notice, it is unlikely we will be able to fill the spot. If this is repeated we will require that you pay for the service you canceled before booking the next service.

Again we understand that life happens. If you miss an appointment please call and let us know. Communication goes a long way. The text reminder system is a great way to check on times and dates of appointments. By keeping the text thread, you can check at any time. We truly value you and your time. We try very hard to be on time for our appointments with you. We do not double-book when we have an appointment with you. You are our priority. We just ask that you value our time as well.
